October 20th, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my two good friends, Heather & Rachael.
Heather is back in L.A.... and I thought sending her a great big Happy Birthday at the TODAY was better than a generic card...
I also had a sign for the kids and John! According to my mom, they saw it at about 8:30!!!
Watching the TODAY show live is a neat experience. The Team comes outside to meet and greet, and then deliver the news, or introduce a segment. 
Here, Al Roker says good morning to the folks around me, and shakes our hands... He is very personable. Matt Lauer was also genuinely friendly and polite and interested in talking to the fans.
Ann Curry was obviously suffering from a bad cold and refrained from shaking hands, but chatted with a group of ladies across from me with genuine curiosity. None of them were "shallow or fake"...
The whole team waits for the producer to give them the cue to introduce the next segment...
An interview with ORLANDO Bloom. 
Nothing like having to stand still and not do anything akward or embarassing as you KNOW that the camera is on you... Yes, if you look in between Al and Ann, the camera was facing directly at me. 
Matt chats with some visitors from Scotland, and we got to hear about his recent family vacation there... that was one of his favorite places. We also got to hear a "plug" for his upcoming "Where it the World" series (in November)...Note the beautiful coat and killer heels on Natalie...
